Project Overview

Project Objective

To develop a dynamic test system for evaluating military-type helicopter generators and starters under realistic mounted conditions. The system analyzes mechanical and electrical outputs to support development, maintenance, and repair activities.

Target Platform and Industry

  • Industry: Military/civil aviation, defense sector

  • Platform: Military and civilian helicopters

Scope and Functionality

  • Measures the mechanical and electrical performance of helicopter generators and starters.
  • Mechanically drives generators and measures their electrical outputs for performance testing.
  • Electrically drives starters and measures their mechanical outputs for performance testing.
