A Strategic Step Toward LXI Conformance

DEICO has taken a significant step in the certification journey of its Ethernet-controlled test and measurement instruments by attending the LXI Face-to-Face Member Meetings & Plugfest, held between 12–14 November 2025 in Munich, Germany.

The event brought together leading companies, technical committees, and product developers to perform conformance testing, review the latest updates in LXI standards, and discuss cybersecurity and compliance topics relevant to next-generation instrumentation.

Engineering Team Participation

DEICO was represented on-site by four members of its hardware and software design teams:

  • Hakan Toktaş – Hardware & Software Design Director
  • Hayati Cem Atakan – Software Design Team Leader
  • Emre Atasoy – Software Design Engineer
  • Oğuzhan Göregen – Software Developer

Their participation enabled direct interaction with the LXI technical committee, active involvement in Plugfest testing sessions, and early validation steps toward certification.

Why LXI Conformance Matters

LXI (LAN eXtensions for Instrumentation) is a widely adopted standard for LAN-based test and measurement equipment. Achieving LXI conformance ensures:

  • Interoperability with other LXI-enabled systems and instruments
  • Compliance with global industrial and defense ecosystem requirements
  • Network-based remote control and automation capabilities
  • Extended lifecycle and international market acceptance

For DEICO, aligning its Ethernet instrument family with the LXI standard is a strategic milestone in launching globally recognized measurement solutions.

Focus on Productization and Compliance

The Plugfest agenda included in-depth sessions on:

  • LXI conformance test procedures
  • EU Cyber Resilience Act implications for testing equipment
  • Reference design security requirements
  • Standardization roadmap discussions

Participation in this event allows DEICO to accelerate certification, anticipate regulatory requirements, and ensure that upcoming products are fully aligned with international standards before market release.
